I love deviantART journals just to fill in the random mood smilie and the other bits like that. Writing this bit is like having to eat through the crust of a pie before you can get to the sweet goodness within.

Anyway, I was recently inspired to get back on track with my webcomics. I know every journal entry I've written since last summer has been in this vain, but, this time, I MEAN IT! I can't motivate myself to do Heroes Unite - this is probably because when I was younger, I wrote all the HU comics and formatting them to webcomic is like doing the same painstaking task twice.

The new idea is something I'm not sure about, because it's a stick figure comic about the grim darkness of the far future. I have no idea how I'll draw things like Orks, Tyranids, Marines and such, but I won't have to worry about that for a while, at least, because this comic is about regular humans - the Imperial Guard. It will be a comedy-esque thing that pokes fun at the rules and such. Expect the pilot to go up tonight when I finish. The actual comic will coincide with the release of the new Imperial Guard codex: May 2nd.

In other news, my life is pretty "meh" right now. No good news. The month of March was as tough as it always is on me. Two especially big things happened, one of which I rather not discuss on a public journal. The other was my dog dying.

I'm failing Algebra and doing mediocre in Biology, doing poorly in English because the class sucks (it's TOO easy for me to take seriously, if that makes sense) and I'm not stressed so much as feeling crappy about it all. Nothing good has happened to me in a long time. Nothing to smile about or make me happy. Only bad news after bad news after bad news. March sucks.

I am five chapters deep in a story that I think will really be *the one*. The book I finally publish. I'm co-authoring it with a friend, and it is set in the grim darkness of the far future, Warhammer 40k, but we have a plan to deal with the whole factor of it being someone else's IP.

I am dropping a lot of money on models this May when the new Imperial Guard codex comes out. Should be interesting having MORE to paint. That leaves a lot on my slate:

- Assemble and Paint 250 Guardsmen + Vehicles
- Write a book
- Write a webcomic
- Pick up in school
- ???
- Profit

I'm confident I can handle it.
